Notice: Openings available on the Board of Appeals. We have 2 alternate positions OPEN on the Board. If you would like the opportunity to be involved in your community, the Board of Appeals is an easy way to get started! The Board meets only when there is no other way to meet the town's code and to finish the project except to issue a variance to the code. So sometimes we meet once or twice a year, and sometimes we never meet. The time commitment is usually no more than an hour per meeting. You will be paid $70.72 (2025 budget) per meeting.
